Not only does the new Nutri-Define range from Jurlique help create that glow, it tackles ageing head on…and wins! How? Read the review below and see how everything Jurlique does is Inspired by nature.
I wanted to write this review about the Nutri-Define Eye Contour Balm because it is finally the eye cream I have been looking for. I should have known it would come from here, I love the Jurlique range.
How The Nutri-Define Eye Contour Balm Caught My Eye
A makeup artist recently told me ‘even a great concealer gets stuck between the sheets’ – those sheets were the wrinkles around my eyes! He was serious, no concealer was hiding my fine lines. He explained that I ‘needed a really good eye cream’ to tackle the wrinkles under my eyes. Don’t you love how honest some people are? Of course, I immediately began searching for an eye cream. I tried out ones he recommended and several others. I’ve tested so many my eyes have become overly sensitive. Nothing was working (even luxury French brands like Payot, Clinique and cosmeceuticals like Medik8) eyes either got irritated or I never saw real results on my sensitive skin – that was before I tried Jurlique’s new Nutri-Define Eye Contour Balm.
Why I Love Jurlique
I knew it was good because I love the Australian company and what it’s about. Have you heard about them or why I love their products so much? They Biodynamically grow herbs in the Adelaide hills overseen by the founder Dr Jürgen Klein who is a biochemist, and his wife Ulrike, a botanist. Ulrike explains that “beauty comes from within, feeling good about yourself, confident”(Jurlique.com.au/the-jurlique-story) – their aim is to reconnect ourselves by connecting us back to nature. The brand story is so cute, the company’s name is a combination of both their first names – Jürgen and Ulrike – it just makes me melt. I begged Jurlique to join their affiliate program and was sent the Nutri-define Eye Contour Balm to test out. I can honestly say, from all the eye creams I’ve tried, this is the one I use every day.
Ingredients Derived From Nature
From using the product every day, I am a fan of Jurlique for two main reasons. The naturally derived ingredients and that it’s Australian made. The Nutri-Define Eye Contour Balm makes for a lovely lightweight yet creamy formula. Enough to sink into the skin and erase fine lines without feeling greasy, heavy (especially under makeup) or irritable. I love the small applicator built with high-grade stainless steel to create a cooling effect. The steel adds a firmness to help stimulate the eye area which helps product absorb. It also and allows the application to be super smooth and hygienic.
Back to the ingredients. The unique oils like squalene, meadowfoam and jojoba improve hydration and erase those ageing signs. They add to the patent-pending Biosome5 technology which is cutting-edge in natural anti-ageing skincare. Using five key ingredients, it targets signs of ageing from wrinkles to sagging skin, and uneven skin tone.
Horseradish and Rosemary Extract offer powerful antioxidant properties to reduce sagging skin. Mulberry Root is rich in anti-oxidants and natural phenols that are known to brighten skin. Peppermint Leaf Extract revitalises dull skin and improves skin texture.
My favourite ingredient is the Glycogen. It makes the mixture literally glow because it’s derived from pearlescent sea shells, and sea minerals help reinforce the skin’s natural defences.
The Nutri-Define Eye Contour Balm Actually Works
The final reason for loving this eye balm is the results. Yes, I had also recently had fillers under my eyes but this actually made the issue stand out to me more. Dermal fillers covered my bags nicely, but there was nothing to combat the little lines right around my eyes! Results spoke for themselves, there was no chemical feel or smell, it was beautifully absorbent, lightweight and reduced the fine lines around my eyes. Need I say more?
Happy days. x
